Yesterday we met the lovely Ellis and his parents, Ellis is 1 in 100 children in the UK every year to be diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.

Ellis put a smile on all the officers faces, even when his mum showed us a photo of him in his own tiny police uniform! 🚔

Yesterday you may have seen a number of officers within the station, we held a drugs operation with Metropolitan Police and CityPoliceDogs PD Elvis.

BTP had 11 positive stops. Leading to 1 x person being arrested, 5 x community resolutions being issued and 1 x report.

It’s a new week for Team 5, back out on patrol this morning for our first early shift!

Working with our partners is the best way to get results. This week, we were patrolling with WeAreWaterloo, Thames Reach and Lambeth Council, talking to and helping the homeless community near #Waterloo and getting them help.

Every few weeks at Waterloo we have a military police officer 3 Regiment Royal Military Police come and join us to come and see what British Transport Police do on a daily basis!

Today is the last day for one of them- he has said “I’ve had a really great time learning about BTP and everyone’s been very welcoming”.
