National Churches Trust BSMGP The strange thing about this stunning window is you have to go upstairs in the bell tower to see it. If you stand in the nave to look back at it there is usually a curtain across. We were lucky to arrive when there was someone with a key to upstairs. It is by Karl Parsons.

Arriving for Evensong St Albans Cathedral as the sun was setting, I was immediately dazzled by Alan Younger’s kaleidoscopic joyful Rose Window 1989 in north transept (opposite the visitor entrance) with concentric circles as the universe and earth at the centre #StainedGlassSunday
