Today I recieved a service charge demand for £6200

My service charge doubled due to costs involved in registering our building to the Building Safety Regulator in accordance with BSA 2022

They don't seem to like it when the forfeiture shoe is on the other foot... So much bad practice from the FH sector that the assets they hold should be removed from them

We were repeatedly told by Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities ministers that it was HM Treasury & Rishi Sunak who consistently blocked moves to protect leaseholders from the costs of #cladding & the #BuildingSafetyCrisis .
So this is true to form for Mr Sunak. He is in the pockets of freeholders & developers.

However the BSA is there because the industry cannot be trusted and now it needs an “adult” (BSR) in charge.
