I confess, when I hear the WHO say “We will continue to see waves of COVID19, the virus is still evolving… we do not yet have a predictable pattern of evolution, we don’t have seasonality, we are at risk for more severe variants” it sounds to me like the emergency isn’t over.

"Are you going to wear a mask forever?" Dude that's not even in the top 1000 things I'm bummed about doing forever. I have to wash my dishes forever. Brush my teeth forever. Do laundry forever. Wearing a respirator forever is nothing.

Just another reminder for those of you that have forgotten, prisoners serving a sentence longer than three years can’t vote in this referendum. That means mob can’t have a say in their own future…their voices are snuffed out in a vote about whether they can have a voice … 🤷🏽‍♀️

Here’s the thing. Your government is formally advising you what you should be doing. They’re not shouting about it, they don’t want the masses to actually know about it. They want them carrying on like it’s 2019 But they are advising the few who still do that ‘thinking’ stuff! 🧵

It’s never too late to start taking precautions. Please don’t assume because you’ve had Covid multiple times there’s “no point”. Every infection avoided is crucial for health. Mask up. Clean the air. Test & reduce indoor gatherings. Stop getting Covid.

Aw man, a house I lived in when I was at uni is on this list. It was a bit of a wreck at the time (there were plants growing in through the study!) but the rent was cheap. We got kicked out so the landlord could renovate and re-lease it at 4x the rent. And now it’s empty again.

If only we lived in a country with lots of sparsely populated land, year-round sunshine, endless windy coastlines, established solar, hydro and wind industries, and billions of dollars of private investment lined up and ready to go.
