“Shocked by what i saw overnight …it has to stop” Keir Starmer
Demands a ceasefire, move to a political process that includes recognition of Palestine.
If Labour win the election I genuinely hope they can follow through on these commitments

Punishing parents for the independent actions of their adult children would certainly be a novel development in our criminal law.

And one not without jeopardy for the parents of certain politicians.

I am staggered Steve Baker is on holiday in Greece. I am in Wycombe fighting for change and every single vote. Since an election was called my team and I have spoken to over 1,000 people and put out thousands of leaflets. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

This is quite something … not only have MPs been ambushed into an election by their own leader but now they’re being blamed for how badly it’s going.

Can’t get an ed psych
Can’t get 1-1 occupational therapy
Can’t get an assessment for educational support needs.
Can’t get travel funding (he can’t cross a road).
But somehow he faces mandatory national service and the govt has billions to fund this policy.

I’m so proud of my friend Ayesha Hazarika for calling out Nigel Farage in the clearest of terms. How she was able to do so with such composure,I have no idea. She shouldn’t have to do this, but while broadcasters continue to give him platform, she and others will have to do so.

Just seen this letter from Greg Clark
Compare and contrast his tone, modesty & lack of ego to letters from the likes of Gove.
Greg was a first class MP - a hard working, sensible, true One Nation Tory and an excellent Minister.
