A “weak” victim is unreliable, crazy, too damaged to believe.

A “strong” victim is suspect and undeserving of justice and sympathy (which rightly belongs to her attacker).

Victims can't win:

Seek therapy to cope with original trauma and years-long trauma of court case but risk therapy notes used against you OR

Forego therapy, face court with unprocessed trauma and no professional support and risk being perceived as 'unstable' or 'unconvincing' .
