Niamh Collins won the 800m at the Victor Lopez Classic at Rice Univ. in 2:11.21 (#9 in U.S). She broke her Mom’s SHS SCHOOL RECORD of 2:13 that had stood since 1994. She did it on her future college home track and her Mom’s alma mater and former track. What a story! niamh collins

Congratulations to Liza Heitmann and Niamh Collins for their success on the track at District last night. Liza - 2nd🥈 400m (59.92) Niamh- District Champ 🥇 800m (2:15) ; District Champ 1600m (5:04) On to Area for both!

Ben Pearce collected another District Champion 🥇medal, running 4:17 in the 1600 to take the victory. Jona Morford ran a PR of 4:30 to finish 4th and earn the Area qualifier. Good luck next week to both!
