BREAKING: FEMA just informed Puerto Rico's Governor Lcda. Wanda Vázquez Garced that FEMA will provide the island government with more flexibility in how @FEMA funding is administered for certain public infrastructure repair projects. This should speed things up, says FEMA's Alex Amparo.

I arrived in #PuertoRico today and met with Governor Lcda. Wanda Vázquez Garced to discuss the recovery efforts for the recent earthquakes. The Governor has our full support in ensuring the response is effective and that survivors receive the federal assistance they need.

I commend FEMA for their tireless support to the people of #PuertoRico during this and past disasters.
