Yesterday, we celebrated the 75th anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, a critical alliance between Europe and the North Atlantic. @FEMA is honored to directly support the U.S. Mission to NATO and work with our partner allies to enhance global resilience.

I have been briefed on the earthquake in New York and New Jersey. Our FEMA Regional Administrators are in contact with their state and local counterparts. Earthquakes can have hidden damages — even after the quakes stop. We will continue to monitor the situation for any impacts.

The week's #workforcewednesday goes to Kenneth Shafer, @FEMA's Supplemental Response Team Program. Ken develops policies for integrating state, local, tribal, & territorial All-Hazards Incident Management Teams into agency operations, building resiliency with the whole community.
