đŸ§”Luxury Hamad towers in Gaza, below, is a microcosm of the entire Gaza war: massive int'l aid pouring in, Gaza is actually a modern urban enclave, Hamas exploitation of civilian Gaza for war, careful IDF action within rules of war & tragic destruction. Overview & analysis: 1/9

Can you spot difference in how UK foreign secretary David Lammy comments on Russian drone attack vs Hezbollah drone attack, both hitting civilian sites? This is typical of many Western leaders & media. They won't condemn or even identify Hezbollah (and Iran) by name. Incredible.

Tunnels in Gaza: 500 kms Total area of Gaza: 365 sq kms Thus every square km of Gaza has 1.4 km of tunnels on average, a network longer and 2x more dense than New York subway system! Heavy destruction in Gaza is largely due to the removal of this immense Hamas tunnel network.

Ehud Olmert and former Fatah leader issued a 2-state proposal yesterday. It's essentially same one Olmert offered in 2008 and Abbas rejected, because it meant end of conflict with a Jewish state intact. This thread recounts the offer & rejection in detail:x.com/Aizenberg55/st

Give credit when due: The New York Times Patrick Kingsley properly note Hezbollah started war after 10/7; That IDF action in WB is to stop “terrorist attacks on Israelis”; That Hamas only seeks to survive regardless of damage to Gaza, hiding with hostages. Simple truths usually obscured.

What does our enemy want? Nothing we can accept. We are facing a totalizing ideology, known as Palestinianism, executed by Hamas and its enablers, that wants nothing less than ending the absolutely humiliating specter of sovereign Jews. We are facing an enemy dedicated by all

Serious question for those who advocate for a hostage deal where Israel fully withdraws upfront from all areas of Gaza for ~30% of hostages & new massive aid: How will Israel get other 70% of hostages back? What will incentivize Hamas to do so? What happens if they refuse?

Hamas’ demand to retake control of Gaza border with Egypt is the "stumbling point" to a hostage deal. Israel’s demand to maintain control during stage 1 is not the problem. Why does Hamas get a free pass, even after executing hostages? Here is The New York Times article as it should read:

A foundational point about so called “analysis” of Israel Defense Forces operations against Hamas is the lack of the actual data such as what the IDF was targeting, known or suspect collateral damage, context, steps taken to minimize civilian harm. This is a realization that almost all opinions
