The Senate lobbying inquiry is holding its public hearings today.

Lobbyists representing everything from big coal to the big banks are undermining the government's efforts to take climate action and manage the cost-of-living crisis.

It's time to strengthen our lobbying rules.

The Accountability RT shares the concern around the appointment process and also suggests 'that former Commonwealth members of parliament should be barred from appointment to the ARC for two years after leaving office'
