The Fallen Heroes Memorial is here! This 28-foot-wide by 6-foot-tall American flag-created from over 7,000 dog tags-honors every service member lost in the War on Terror. Displayed in the Museum’s Reflection Garden, it’s a moving tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

This photo captures the ASOM lobby in its earliest days, just the beginning of something extraordinary. Since then, millions have walked through these doors to explore the legacy of Airborne and Special Operations Soldiers. As we approach 25 years, we remember where it all began.

#FactFriday: In the thick jungles of Vietnam, Special Forces recon teams relied on more than just skill and stealth, they used deception. Some wore boots with soles crafted to leave barefoot prints, designed to mislead enemy trackers and mask their movements. #VietnamWar

📸 Hard to believe, but this 2007 photo shows the ASOM before Iron Mike stood watch. As we gear up for 25 years of honoring Airborne & Special Ops Soldiers, we’re opening the vault. Follow along for powerful throwbacks. #MuseumMonday #ASOM25 #LegacyOfTheBrave
