Last night, the Arkansas Governor's Mansion illuminated in purple and gold to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, recognizing the right of women to vote. We will shine purple & gold through August 26.

Tonight, we honor those united women, black and white, northerners and southerners, who for decades suffered and persevered to achieve the Right to Vote for all USA women with the ratification of the Susan B. Anthony Amendment, aka U.S. 19th Amendment. #ForwardIntoLight

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Sarah Stitt and I want to recognize the Children’s Advocacy Centers across Oklahoma that support children who have been abused and neglected. Every child in Oklahoma deserves to be safe and protected.
