Thank you Apex for Youth for bringing the Asian community together for the 32nd Annual Inspiration Awards Gala! This year's theme, Dream Out Loud, underscored the organization's work to support Asian youth in New York, helping them build confidence & teaching them to be bold.

This month, we joined LES Ecology Center to host an E-Waste Recycling Event in the district! This was a great chance for residents to safely, legally, and sustainably dispose of unwanted electronics in their homes♻️
I was proud to stand with Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz & Nathalia Fernandez last week as the prime co-sponsor of their bill to eliminate NY's involuntary intoxication exemption loophole. We cannot allow perpetrators of sexual assault to use victim blaming to avoid accountability for their crimes.
