In April 2019 I had written the first thread on Twitter about women's rights and gender identity theory. I had received plenty of hatred online. I wa not afraid of that.

FSU member and University College London academic Michelle Shipworth has been BANNED from teaching her own course, after a Chinese student complained that discussing modern slavery in China was too 'provocative'. We've now taken this up directly with UCL.

Alumni for Free Speech The Open University A very long list of universities in formal partnership arrangements with an organisation that has insisted there can be 'no debate' on a matter of social significance and controversy. Such an insistence directly contravenes what should be the core purpose of every university.
