New from the lab: LTP-inhibiting drug doxycycline has no specific impact on human threat memory re-consolidation; but reduces memory, days after clearance (jneurosci.org/content/39/47/…). Now investigating its impact on consolidation in more detail (synapsetrauma.uzh.ch).

Got a new paper out in #PLOSCompBio (w/ bachlab) showing that algorithmically optimizing associative learning experiments may substantially increase inference accuracy. Similar approach could be used in other learning/decision making exp. paradigms. dx.plos.org/10.1371/journa…
