Update on course at York racecourse. Jim Crowley and Trevor Whelan both conscious and talking but very sore, and probably going to hospital.

Another update from York Racecourse. Both jockeys conscious and talking, both are in ambulances on the way to Leeds Hospital for further examination to both of their legs. Racing will continue currently, but thankfully both seemingly ok. Horrible incident on course to witness!

Anyone that follows racing that has watched the 4:30 at York can see that NO jockey is at fault. Jim Crowley, went for a gap that was there, and Callum Rodriguez struck his mount on the right hind leg and the horse reacted to the whip and jinked left. Nobody at fault.
