🎉 We’re excited to announce the Advisory Board for #SMARTERFinance for 🇪🇺!
It’s been a pleasure to assemble the board leading the #EULife in the present and future where #greenfinance products intersect with #EUTaxonomy and full spectrum #sustainability in the built environment
No heating on for 24h and a chunk of heat put into the hot 🚿 (our HW heat pump takes heat from inside) but the 🏠 is still nearly 20°C. Still surprises me after 10months in the house. #Passivhaus .
*electricians were in doing some snagging and I forgot to turn heating back on.
Good read about the groundbreaking green building in temple bar - 30 years old The Irish Times Jeff Colley
Saw a critique of #Passivhaus recently that claimed MVHR generally only recovered a few degrees of heat. The reality, for quality units and installs, is much better than this. Today, typical winter weather, 12° difference between outdoor & supply temp.
🚨 BREAKING Overwhelming support in Parliament for #RightToRepair , consumer protections against #greenwashing , and products that are made to last 👇

You've only gone and introduced #EmbodiedCarbon targets and reporting for new AND existing public buildings, PLUS an EUI target with mandatory annual reporting. Bravo 👏 tinyurl.com/3yr8r3fu

This was unexpected but a really nice surprise and I’m honoured to have been awarded the Gabor medal by the The Royal Society. But it should really belong to the huge number of people in the UK and worldwide who have worked so hard to understand the complexity of virus transmission.
