Similar heraldry Knolles of Chateau ile Yeu has a chevron argent wth three roses. Hepburn of Hailes has a single rose. Kerr of Cessford have three stars and Fleming of Biggar is blank. Some claimed the chevron represents pouring out the Cup of Christ not acknowledging the Church!
