Glorious post-war Supermarine Spitfire Mk 16s of the Central Gunnery School, based at RAF Leconfield in 1949. The aircraft furthest from the camera featured in the 1969 movie, 'The Battle of Britain' and is still airworthy today, based at Biggin Hill, registered as G-MXVI.

Got to Bangor in the Baron in about nine hours. Took it easy to make my honey comfortable. High tailed it to Moosehead Lake and we are not disappointed!

Some cool shots from circa '44 of Torokina AF on Bouigainville Island. F4U's, F6F's, and other aircraft including RNZAF P-40's. As with ALL of my videos, this is custom edited, HD upscaled/denoised, and colored/exp for yours and mine viewing pleasure -first time seen 🫡
