Remembering Brent Woodall, Class of 1993, a tight end on Cal's Citrus Bowl team, pitcher in the 1992 College World Series & graduate of Haas Business School, who died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Brent's wife Tracy give birth to their daughter in April 2002.

On September 11, 2001, Mark Bingham, Class of 1993, was one of the heroes who brought down United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania, saving hundreds or thousands of lives. Mark Bingham was a proud gay man and a National Champion with Cal Varsity Rugby. He was 31 years old.
