I can only wonder why the NCAA isn’t letting tech use the hammer anymore. Was it an OSHA thing? Do they need everyone wearing helmets to bring it back?

So sick of the “D1 or Bust” mentality. And for what? So your parents can brag to friends? So few even GET the opportunity to play in college. IF you get the chance to play at the next level...GO where you can get the best college experience & degree. THAT'S what matters.

College baseball is back today, and it’s a great time to reflect on a few key points. 1.Do you resemble the athletes on the field in the starting lineup?

2. Is your swing at the level of a top college hitter, and are your mechanics as fundamentally sound as those of a starting pitcher? 3. Can you consistently throw three to four pitches for strikes in any count? 4. Are you the first one on and off the field between innings?

These are important questions for any athlete aspiring to play college baseball. Take a moment to assess where you stand and what you need to improve. Just some food for thought as the season begins.
