#RHSInnovatorsCh1 Creating individualized learning for students. Students are starting to realize that mastery is our goal instead of a grade. I give multiple ways and trys if needed. I am finding those a-ha moments for each & celebrating their learning. @EdAdGear

#RHSInnovatorsCh2 how can we make our large campus smaller? How can we help students connect in a meanigful way. This is hard for some students. Especially those that transfer in.

Jamie I applaud you for taking on this challege. I have tried this in the past but have run into many challenges. Usually. from others who did not see it as "fair" to students in other classes not getting the same mastery chance.

#RHSinnovatorsch3 In my efforts to be innovative I tried a new to me tech tool to give RT feedback. It flopped the first time, I got help & it was ok day 2. My kids are getting to observe me being resilent. They are getting to see this old dog learn a new trick. They like it.

#rhsinnovatorsch4 With parents if I ask them for their help and I get it I always make sure to thank them. This extra effort goes a long way. With students I take the time to find out who they are as a person and let them know I care. With our staff I try to be a servant leader.

#rhsinnovatorsch Jeff Chandler Make sure you hire the best possible person for every opening. I never just settled on someone. Once hired you have to create a culture that helps to include them & keep them. Low turn over is a positive sign of strong relationships.

#rhsinnovatorsch4 question for the group. I feel I have strong relationships with my team and department. I feel we are so departmentalized I only have a few casual relationships outside of my department. What can we do to change that and create strong relationships campus wide?

As a teacher this would help us as we would not have to remember the alpha split. Also it would give us more of a team approach. Great idea @EdAdGear

I have said this for years. However, I do not think parents would go for it. Also if a school or district were to implement it how would you do GPA and class rank for college admission @EdAdGear ?

#rhsinnovatorsch5 i would like to implement an anti-vaping program. Have it student led with athletics, honor society, drill, cheer and oter groups mentoring our middle school and freshmen.

#rhsinnovatorsch6 in my class I try to empower each student to become a teacher. I encourage colaboration and inquiry learning. Students know I will help them, but it usually comes in the form of questions to help guide their own problem solving.

Still @americanair dont care. I am a gold member. If you value gold members then every employee should know I get 1 bag for each ticket. Why dont you train your people if you value your customers? #americanairdontcare share complaints with FAA. faa.gov/about/office_o…
