People love talking about “gifted” wins and saying oh all Coco did was get another ball back. Even if you were to entertain this premise, the fact of the matter is virtually no player is equipped to just get balls back against Sabalenka and stay in the match.

Also Coco never gets credit for how smart she is out there. How she problem solves, how she adjusts. You rarely see her choose the wrong shot, or tactically approach a match wrong. She was the smarter player yesterday.
