😭😭 I want to quit so bad and just buy a gift, but I’m too far in to not finish this wedding present now. This is 189 hours, and I’d guess I have around at least 70 hours left before it’s finished.

Sometimes I think I could be a sophisticate. And then I start eating cheezits with my French 75. And then I realize I’m content being a picky little gremlin who feeds herself like a child.

Thanks to the barista who accidentally made too many coffees and gave me a second one for free. Now I can save my hot coffee for tomorrow and have this one for today.

Whatever good vibes you’ve got, send them my family’s way. My uncle who has been in hospice is now in the active stages of going, and his wife fell this morning and broke her hip and is in emergency surgery and my cousins had to choose who to be there to support in each case.

Progress update: I only have two sections left to do, and I’ve got to get them done by Friday afternoon before I leave for my uncle’s funeral on Saturday so I can give it to my brother and his wife on Sunday at my grandma’s early 90th birthday party. 😮‍💨 I am stressed.

She’s mad we’re not sticking to our morning routine so she’s forcing cuddles while I furiously stitch.

I am stress cleaning today. Which I guess is a nice bonus because then the house will be clean after my surgery on Thursday and I won't have to think about any chores after coming home.

Every time I sigh looking at the election coverage, my husband tells me everything is okay in the same voice tone he does when we take the cats to the vet.

I feel sick. I feel scared. I feel weary. How did we get here again.

With my surgery tomorrow, I’m not allowed to have any caffeine or alcohol today and this is literally the worst fucking day this could happen on.
