Four high altitude balloons near Wilcox, AZ. They were launched from Libby Airfield, part of Fort Huachuca and are part of Arcane Thunder 25. The exercise links Fort Huachuca, Utska, Poland, and Mainz-Kastel, Germany.

We were in class with the coverage of Challenger playing in the background and were expected to keep up with the classwork. We were allowed to watch it for about an hour right after we got into class, but then it was right back to work.

Airborne! Last week, Quarterhorse Mk 1 took off from Edwards AFB, achieved stable flight and landed smoothly. Mk 1's flight validated our rapid, iterative approach to airplane development and advanced our mission to radically accelerate aviation.

And of course right at the start of the WSINT launch they switch to 03, which is currently not shootable. Five plus hour drive for a C-17 and four F-16s.

It's a fighter frenzy. Congratulations to our teammates for delivering 13 fighter aircraft since late April — including F-15 production jets, EPAWSS jets, F/A-18 production jets and F/A-18 SLM jets.
