Good example of how easy it is to overlook window collision victims - can you find the poor Black-capped Chickadee killed by Circa Central Park? DOJ Environment and Natural Resources Division New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation USFWS Migratory Birds please look into this - 100s of federally protected birds from at least 42 species impacted here

Has anyone ever seen this molt on a yellow-bellied sapsucker? Not a speck of red anywhere in early May. This extra-yellow beauty collided with a window and has been recovering with us for a few days, but we hope to send her(?) forth soon. 📷: Phyllis Tseng

Good morning to this hooded warbler, rescued this AM by Calista McRae, along with many other migrants who collided with windows after flying overnight to arrive here. Please join us at City Hall today at 12:30 to support a lights-out bill that would save so many birds' lives!

There was high migration movement last night, bringing many birds into the city. Our volunteers were out early this morning to find birds that had collided with windows. These birds were found by just one volunteer. This is only a fraction of birds that likely collided today.

Wood duck mama hooked Prospect Park. A delicate rescue b/c mama will fly off if spooked. Her babies - incredibly fragile, most won't survive w/out her. #FishingGearKills must end now. Too many lives at stake. Council Member Shekar Krishnan New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation NYC Parks Department 📷 Charles Tang

Please don’t enter roped off areas as there’s shorebird nests like Clark Kent’s here. Both plover parents incubate the eggs. Dogs, kites, drones & humans entering closed areas all cause nest loss & abandonment. Please give them space during this critical time. #protecttheplovers

This is so misguided. NYC Parks FortTryonParkTrust please remove these before they kill lots of birds and other animals. Glue traps have also been seen in Inwood Hill Park. There are safer methods.

We are pleased to see hints of change finally happening at Circa Central Park, one of the city's most hazardous buildings for birds. "This N.Y.C. Building Is in the Bird-Killing Hall of Shame. It Wants Out." — Catrin Einhorn nyti.ms/47aql4D

Three little birds; near death on Circa Central Park’s doorstep. 😡 Recused these poor migrating kinglets this morning after they collided with Circa’s windows and transported to Wild Bird Fund

Glue traps should never be outside, especially not on trees. This is deadly for birds, native insects and other wildlife and useless against the larger lanternfly problem. NYC Parks, can someone please remove these?

Thanks iPhone for producing this surreal memory of photos documenting a mass window collision event at Circa Central Park on Nov 2, 2019, set to a jaunty soundtrack. Just what I needed. 🥺🫣
