Jaylon Jones broke up so many in-breaking routes to his side last season. Explosive player that timed up these pass break ups so well. Difficult player to attack with digs and slants to his side of the field

lol trust me when I say that anything I’ve found on a players film has certainly also been noticed by the 31 other multi billion dollar organizations with limitless resources.

Wasn’t able to watch the Fever game because I didn’t get the channel but it looks like they were able to pull out a win despite Clark and Boston struggling. Don’t think that would have been possible last year. Howard went crazy tonight

I’m excited to see Carlie’s impact on the football side of the org. She’s been so involved for a long time and I bet she knows her stuff. Hoping to see more media appearances from her going forward where she’s talking ball

Jaylon Jones was really strong in zone coverage last season, especially in cover 2 calls. Good awareness of when to get depth/when to attack and took away a few hole shots to his side of the field

Jaylon Jones has been able to stick in the NFL as a former 7th round pick primarily due to how smart of a player he is. He reads body language very well and understands how offenses try to attack his side of the field. 11 forced incompletions last season and 10 pass breakups:

A big reason why the Colts signed Charvarius Ward this offseason is due to Jaylon Jones' limitations in covering top wide receivers. He's a good player, but he just doesn't have the speed or the fluidity to match these top guys on an island.

My biggest concern with Jaylon Jones (and like 90% of the Colts' defensive starters) is tackling consistency. So many missed tackles on film with poor form. Gotta clean this up going into next season

Pacers depth is the difference maker. They can survive down games from anybody because they have players capable of stepping up everywhere. What a team

Colts cornerbacks Jaylon Jones (round 7) and JuJu Brents (round 2) were both selected in the same draft class. Combining their college careers and NFL careers, Jones has 3,910 defensive snaps played while Brents has just 2,460. Jones is nearly 2.5 years younger than Brents

NEW: Former 7th round pick Jaylon Jones emerged as a solid starting cornerback for the Colts last season. What is his long term potential though? I dive into the 23 year old’s game and break down what makes him unique: si.com/nfl/colts/news…
