Colts top 3 picks this year will probably be some order of CB/DE/WR. The way the board falls will determine which ones go first imo

NEW: The Build-A-Ballard All Offense team dropping earlier this week, so now it’s time to focus on the defensive side of the ball.

Looking at FCS and lower players is always a treat. Teams will put a guy at WR his first year just to get him on the field and then he’ll be a 12 sack DE by year 4/5 lol

To me, I don’t think this year feels too different from many Ballard offseason. Re-sign his own, patient with outside additions… to me, I haven’t seen anything to indicate he’s going to approach the draft differently

Albany LB Brian Abraham feels like a Colts' small schooler to watch.

6'4' 229 pounds with 33 5/8 inch arms
4.62 Forty Time/38 inch Vert/131 inch Broad

Former cornerback at Yale converted to DE/LB at Albany.

Keep an eye on Illinois WR Casey Washington this draft season Colts' fans.

6'0' 200 pounds
4.46 forty/39.5 inch Vert/127 inch Broad

218 yards receiving and 3 TDs in his final game vs Northwestern last season

I really like Brock Bowers but if Miami offered their first next season and their second rounder this year for him, I’m perfectly fine not having him. That’s such a massive haul for Indy at 15 lol

Just a guess but if the Colts do move up on draft night, I don’t think it would be for an offensive player. I think it would be for a certain pass rusher if he slips past the Falcons at 8

I’m bullish on Yale WR Mason Tipton.

He’s a bit undersized at 5’10”, 180 but very explosive. Watched him at Toledo’s pro day where he ran a 4.31 with a 37” vertical and 10’05” broad, had an impressive field workout.

Chris Ballard has drafted 6 small schoolers since 2019. 5/6 players changed positions in college:

EJ Speed: WR -> DE -> LB
Drew Ogletree: WR -> TE
Rodney Thomas: S/CB -> LB
Titus Leo: WR/LB -> DE
Jake Witt: TE -> OT
