To all the Early Medieval historians out there, has anyone endeavoured to create a kind of ‘super-chronicle’ of early sources? Compiling Gildas, The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, Asser, Bede etc. into one single coherent piece? Not just a collection, but a combined piece?
