Rumour has it: This was either before or after, he lied about the "golden pension" he loves to talk about. #yyc #yyccc #yycpolitics

Longer lines at polling stations have been created by design by the UCP to help encourage a certain outcome. Stay in line, place your vote and make sure your voice is heard. #yycvote #yegvote

Yesterday #yyccc voted to make homes in #yyc more expensive to buy & more difficult to build. Sadly they also voted to handcuff a zoning tool developers could use to bring proposals that could be considered by the community & Council. This places us on a path to costly sprawl

Today Calgarians are being reminded that maintaining sprawl is expensive and the bill can only be pushed so far into the future... just as #yyccc is in the midst of taking steps to repeal blanket rezoning and return to the sprawling city model.

Calgary's urban sprawl means we have to maintain more roads & pavement than most cities. The fix for this problem was blanket rezoning however Cllr Mike Jamieson wants to repeal it. The result will be more sprawl, more crumbling roads & higher maintenance bills for taxpayers.

Rumour has it: Single detached homes never went away in the first place and certain councillors who haven't accompolished anything need to scare people like they did. #yyc #yyccc Jeromy (Pathfinder) Farkas

Calgarians for Thoughtful Growth think home prices declining, rent declining, and record housing construction is a failure. Not that thoughtful…

Kirk Lubimov It sounds like building more townhouses increases supply and decreases prices, which makes townhouses more affordable for more people (less expensive to buy = more affordable).

Rumour has it: We should not learn about past mistakes and use them to avoid those future atrocities in modern times or the future.

Rumour has it: Farkas supporters knew he was going to repeal from the beginning with no replacement plan, but voted for him anyway cause they hated the brown woman.
