Today’s view of the Lamar River Trail in Yellowstone National Park. During today’s tour, my clients experienced the sights and sounds of a herd of bison run nearby, as well as watch four coyotes hunt for food. While slow by Lamar standards, it was a great day.

Lamar Valley could have around 10 inches of snow by next weekend. Mammoth will probably get 2 to 4 inches over the same time period. I’d image the Tower area will be somewhere in between those two, or closer to Lamar’s total.
