Yesterday I joined a candlelight vigil in support of our Atlantic County Asian Community. Coming together against hate and intolerance is always a priority, it’s particularly important when we have seen this hate filled rhetoric spewed in our own County.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a surge in abuse against Asian American and Pacific Islander families and communities. Unfortunately, the rhetoric surrounding COVID-19 has placed hatred on the Asian community.

In honor of Black Maternal Health Week, the NAACPAtlanticCity Black Infant and Maternal Mortality Taskforce & the Prematurity Prevention Initiative put together a Black Infant and Maternal Morality Toolkit to educate, empower, & take action in the community.
