I have 18 days of time off saved up. 13 sick days, 5 vacation. At this place, I can use a bit of sick as vacation if I want. This is the most I've ever had (usually when it's up to 5, I got on a week long trip) What shall I do?

Where do you place your Charitable donations in your budget? We donate over 5 digits each year and we don't consider this savings, even though it is beneficial around tax time. This being said, we still maintaining close to a 50% savings rate.

Went to a concert last night and my wife rushed to the bathroom afterwards... at some point her iphone fell out of her pocket. Went to lost and found, checked all the bathrooms, security let us walk the path to our seats and back and around. Nothing Most likely lost or stolen 😥

Do you consider your principal from your mortgage in your "invested dollars for the year" or your "savings rate"? I'm not talking about do you count it as an asset. (It is) I mean, when you consider how much you saved of your take home, do you count principal towards your home?

My 2024 investing plan: I pick a dollar amount to invest as a % of my estimated income for the year. I work feverishly to hit that number as fast as possible. The rest of the year, I invest if I feel like it. My wife calls it ripping the band aid off. This year we hit ~$70K

Going on an 8 day vacation really super charges me to hit my investing goals. Annual bonus hits in a few weeks. $$$ This is where we max out 3 of 4 retirement accounts.
