The prosecution of R Eisenman is a scourge on the office & this state. If they had any morals left, they would drop the charges or Governor Phil Murphy would do the right thing & issue a pardon for crimes claimed committed.

Interesting that Drew Skinner attended Eisemann’s hearing. I hope he backtracks on this relentless prosecution of a revered leader and drops the case that has sullied the Attorney General Jennifer Davenport OPIA. Joe Cryan Senator Bob Singer David Wildstein have rightly decried this as a travesty.

BREAKING: New Jersey Superior Court Judge Paone has tossed all charges against SCHI founder Rabbi Eisemann, possibly putting an end to the nearly decade long legal saga.

Explaining his decision, Judge Paone cited the prosecution’s inability to show any evidence that Rabbi Eisemann committed any crime, determining that the case should not even be decided by a jury, which he dismissed immediately, effectively ending the case.

In a statement to New Jersey Globe, New Jersey state Joe Cryan argued that the state should pay for Eisemann's legal fees, which totaled well over $6 million over the last 9 years. “They can’t give the Rabbi back the years, but they should pay his legal bills,” Cryan said.

And this, Governor Phil Murphy Mahen Gunaratna, is your answer to why you won Lakewood in 2017 but lost badly in 2021, despite having the VAAD endorsement in both elections. Because the voters of Lakewood love and respect Rabbi Eisemann. And these voters knew that the buck stops with Murphy.

It’s so heartening to see decent people speaking up against this travesty. Rabbi Osher Eisemann was lucky enough to have the support of a revering community to help fund his legal battle. Will the next victim of Attorney General Jennifer Davenport’s OPIA (maybe you) be as lucky? Comment Governor Phil Murphy?
