If you're wondering why I don't talk more often about scavengers, it's because every time I do, another dragon comes up to ask me the best methods to catch them so they can enjoy an easy delicious snack. Not counting the time SOMEONE asked me the best way to prepare them. Ugh..

I’ve made an interesting discovery. Scavengers show their teeth to each other when they’re happy, It’s some sort of friendly signal. But, when I bare my fangs to them, they panic more than usual! Strange right? I need to investigate this phenomenon more thoroughly.

Apparently, scavengeres enjoy being licked by their pets, so I tried licking a scavenger to calm it down when I capture them. At first it was extremely alarmed, but after a while, and with enough gentle licks, it did calm down! Strange adorable little creatures.

//One of the things I don't like about the WOF graphic novels is the number of scenes they cut, it's too many and they are usually related to the human scenes I was surprised to see the entire mission of Clearsight and Listener rescuing them and showing an IceWing devouring one!

I have always ignored how other dragons hunt, because I don’t like seeing other animals suffer. But if I want to get close to scavengers, I need to understand which movements and behaviors seem aggressive from their POV I should watch another dragon hunt deer or something..

Butterflies are definitely the most beautiful insects there are. Delicate flaps, beautiful wings, I feel some kind of kinship watching them. I'm being completely unbiased, of course!

// It's already been a year since I started learning to draw. It's hard to judge my own work, but I feel like I have been improving :D Here's a quick compilation of all the drawings I've done so far.

Dragons hoard many things. gold, gems, and jewelry. I suppose every dragon hoards what they value most. Mine happens to be scavenger things, tiny tools, books that I can't read, and strange little weapons. Is that strange? I find them very fascinating.

I've noticed scavengers relax faster if I lower my head instead of looming over them. It must feel less like I'm about to eat them. We are making progress!

Just because a scavenger fits perfectly in your claws does not mean it feels comfortable being held. Their skin is extremely delicate and sensitive to pressure. Even gentle handling by our standards can cause them harm. Such small creatures require very careful handling!

Today I managed to observe a scavenger sleeping, I approached without him noticing. They curl up tightly, make soft noises, and move A LOT. They also snore quite loudly for such a small creature. It's impressive how they can sleep like that and not be found by predators!

I thought scavengers wore so many layers of clothing because they were cold. But I've seen that they wear clothes even in deserts and other hot climates. Perhaps they simply enjoy wrapping themselves in fabrics? fascinating behavior!
