Being in New York today I met with NLD Permanent Rep to the United Nations Yoka Brandt. We reflected on the situation in Mali and my experience as Force Commander MINUSMA. I thanked her for her support for me and my team with my Commander’s Coin.

As UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPS ExecutiveBoard president, it was a pleasure working with UNFPA ED Dr. Natalia Kanem /she/her/ella/. We keep strengthened UNFPA’s important mandate to ensure women’s & girls’ access to sexual reproductive health & rights. While our presidency concluded,our partnership will continue!
