We have kicked off, the second day of the training for teachers and Educators on Media and Information literacy, at Juba Landmark Hotel. Thanks to funding from UNESCO South Sudan
Day two of our engagement with teachers & educators on MIL, continues with informative sessions, covering topics such as understanding mis&disinformation, the impact of tech. on media & society and the data privacy. We are grateful to UNESCO South Sudan for funding this engagement.
UNESCO, University of Juba and Youth Media Initiative South Sudan conclude a 2-day workshop for educators & teachers on #MIL aimed at equipping participants with an interrelated set of competencies to maximize advantages and minimize harm in the new information, digital and communication landscape.

We are grateful to our partner KAS Uganda & S.Sudan for inviting us to attend a three-day training on Demography, Migration & Sustainable Development Goals for journalists in Gulu, northern Ug. The training is being facilitated by the Media Challenge Initiative & It's funded by KAS Uganda & S.Sudan
Earlier this week, we conducted preparatory training for students ahead of the YMISS-University Media Competition scheduled for May 14th and 15th. The schools we covered were MDI, UOJ, and Star Int. Next week, we shall visit Starford, Destiny and SSCU. KAS Uganda & S.Sudan
Just in; In collaboration with UNESCO, we have commenced a two-day training program in Bor, Jonglei State, focused on equipping youths with media and information literacy skills. The training will take place from October 14th to October 15th, 2024. UNESCO South Sudan
