One of the most painful lessons of this crisis is the extent to which America cannot or will not identify with Chinese pain. Every horror that is happening here happened first in Wuhan. We covered it. Many people did not care.

Two years ago, I heard my friends who were taking programming languages course commenting that teaching cobol was a crime (quoted from Edsger Dijkstra in fact). Wait, what year is it now? ๐Ÿคฃ

We have 2 papers accepted to recsys 2020. One of them is Model Size Reduction Using Frequency Based Double Hashing for Recsys. We proposed a hybrid hashing method to combine both frequency and double hashing without compromising performance. arxiv.org/pdf/2007.14523โ€ฆ

In the long term, seeing the painful chaos might be a unique chance to really know who he is and how wild a company like TSLA operates. I tend to question whether his success is due to the right timing, with a management model that fails to scale to software companies.
