Fuuuuuuuuu...I forgot how emotional this book had me the first time. Since I'd only read this book once before I didn't remember everything that happened, just a few of the bigger events, so it was just as much of an emotional roller coaster as the first time. 😭

3 days until book 4 drops...I still need to read book 3...and I just realized that the cover of book 4 Keera doesn't have silver eyes AND her hair is short?! WTF is 3 and 4 gonna put me through?! 😭

I decided I needed an emotional break between A Shadow Crown and A Vicious Game...so I went with a fluffy novella. Ngl some of Gunnar's "sexy talk" gave me a whole lotta ick...😅 overall though it was a fun and quick read!

This entire series has me in an emotional chokehold 😭 This book had me crying so much...I was numb by the end...if it wasn't for that bonus chapter...I think I'd still be numb 😅

From the start I really didn't feel an emotional connection to Emily or Ruarc...though we do get dual POV, which gives us their inner thoughts...I just feel like they didn't get emotionally as deep as I would have liked. 😅

This is so beautifully drawn. I'm embarrassed so say I haven't watched the movie yet. Though I have seen, and adore, Song of the Sea. There's just something so magical and beautiful about the way the artist creates the characters and scenery 🥰
