hey guyzz, was not feeling well for past couple of days and thought of taking a break as well, but now resuming the study of db internals. Got a couple of blogs and white papers lined up for tonight's read

hey guyzz, after reading a few articles, I got a basic understanding of MVCC and how it’s implemented in postgres. I’ve started building a minimal version of it by implementing a kv store in golang, following the Eatonphill articles though I still have some doubts about

finally done implementing amazon's dynamo paper in go. called it plethora. consistent hashing, vector clocks, sloppy quorum, hinted handoff, merkle trees, gossip protocol, like everything that makes dynamo choose availability(lazy consistency) over consistency .

llms are becoming close and close to humans, sometimes there responses are too much accurate and sometimes it's just pure garbage

finally done with the implementation of mvcc, implemented all 4 isolation levels (read uncommitted, read committed, repeatable read, snapshot isolation, serilizable isolation) planning to add some more features, and 2 phase locking and optimistic concurrency control. Will try to

ignoring the noise, staying calm, trusting yourself and constantly pushing to be better is one of the best thing you can learn from people here.
