Today is the 80th anniversary of the start of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. When the Nazis entered Warsaw Ghetto to liquidate it around 750 fighters fought the well-armed and trained soldiers. The revolt lasted until 16 May, when the fighters were finally defeated. #OTD #OnThisDay

A snippet of my speech at H.E.T. Appeal Dinner this week. Failing to act after hearing survivors' pleas to combat prejudice, despite witnessing hatred, would be the greatest insult. The responsibility to fight antisemitism, racism and hatred lies with each of us.

Currently back in Berlin for a few days. 🇩🇪 Visited the Berlin Holocaust memorial again today. A poignant reminder of how powerful effective memorialisation is. “It happened, therefore it can happen again…” - Primo Levi. Never forget. H.E.T.
