Something I’ve been reluctant to share b/c I don’t want to platform eugenicist rhetoric… but it’s important to note that the architects of eugenics thought specifically dreamed of pandemics as a means to rid society of “worthless race types” “the insane” and disabled. (1/5)

The impulse to label people as unwell, deeply mentally ill, pathological–should be a trigger for introspection. This is exactly the language and frameworks that have been instrumentalized to disappear, institutionalize, and kill disabled people for generations.

There's a lot of trauma possible when being (severely) chronically ill and disabled in the way society and healthcare treats us. But the most traumatic thing for me is my extreme pain and physical suffering. How intense some physical suffering can be is really traumatic.

Covid was the biggest transfer of power from bosses to workers in 75 years and billionaires were so angry at this they demanded governments inflict 'pain' on the economy to punish 'arrogant' workers and it's amazing how so little analysis of the last 5 years includes this

If you're struggling to understand how eugenics impacts daily life right now, I recommend going back to the historical records to see how the eugenics movement took off 100 years ago. We need to be able to recognize it when we see it, so that we can push back and resist. 1/13

The trend of leftists absolutely going off on disabled and sick people on this site is extremely upsetting, and it's always just followed by a stream of more ableism and sanism. Instead of admitting mistakes or reframing things, leftists decide to triple down for laughs.

Fascism doesn’t start with soldiers in the streets. It starts with deciding who is expendable. The sick. The disabled. The aging. The refugees. The immigrants. The outsiders. The people who think too much, speak too loudly, refuse to bow. 1/2

YES!! The profound and devastating effect of SIH on quality of life CANNOT be overstated. The attack on our brains is an attack on EVERYTHING that makes us, us.

Sadly, this isn’t a myth for many leakers. Despite multiple interventions, some patients remain bed-bound for years, relapse, or fail to regain pre-leak function (est up to 20% depending on type of leak). We need a call for research and reporting of these left-behind leakers.

someone drove by my place blasting sleepyhead by passion pit…. not to age myself but THAT song reminds me of tumblr. not 2014 tumblr. 2009, 2010 tumblr. floral dresses from urban outfitters. bedrooms with string lights and polaroids on the walls. bad amateur photography

leftists when asked to consider disabled people: 😡🤬🖕🏻 leftists imagining a world without disabled people: 🥹☺️🥳👏🏻 leftists being told by disabled people that it’s fucked up they don’t want disabled people to exist and they do nothing to make the world better for us now: 😡🤬🖕🏻

I’m not a “warrior.” I’m not here to brand my pain or pretend that being disabled is some kind of gift. I’m disabled AF, dealing with the same medical gaslighting, broken systems, and daily grind as the people I help. I’m tired of wellness influencers and even healthcare

The ruling class has to destroy social media and the Internet because these were starting to make up for the educational systems they already destroyed. The more people learn about the world, the less they’ll believe the lies justifying its present organization.

Brian Fog To me, this is one of the most interesting symptoms. OI is the cardinal symptom of CSF leak, and 56% of people with ME/CFS have the cardinal sign of CSF leak on their imagery (brain sag), but nobody is checking them out for it. Has anyone checked you out for it?

Rest in peace. Thank you for teaching us all so much about ME & sharing beauty you created & your luminous soul along the way. I wish things had gone differently for you. That people had treated you like the precious person that you were.
