A CDM nurse from Central Women's Hospital (Mandalay), Daw Poe Thant Aung was killed in the interrogation by the junta, according to local sources. The junta continues to kill civilians who fight for democracy in Myanmar.

Veteran activist Mya Aye, who was arrested on the day of the military coup in Feb last year, was among nearly 5,800 prisoners freed in a mass amnesty on Thursday. He was released from the Yangon’s Insein Prison along with several other detainees on Thursday afternoon. #Myanmar
