It’s Safer Internet Day and Year 3 have started the day with a challenge! The children are thinking about something positive that they enjoy about going online for each letter of the alphabet. I wonder who will be first to complete the challenge? #SaferInternetDay Windsor CP

As part of #childrensmentalhealthweek2023, we have really enjoyed reading and listening to the story, ‘The Invisible String’ It reminded us of the special connections we have with everyone around us: family, friends, pets, community, no matter how far apart we are from them.

Thank you to everyone for attending our ‘Passport to the World’ Celebration Afternoon based on our Geography study of Italy. Our experts, Yaken, Kritika, Amon and Elijah did a great job of welcoming the parents and challenging them to find Italian cities on our map display.

@Year3_WCP_ have loved learning about the Pointillism technique in Art, this week. The children then used it to create paintings on canvas of an Italian landscape, with their knowledge of colour theory! 🖼 🎨 👩‍🎨

We are really enjoying our workshop session with Monkey, this morning! We have thought about when a person needs to see a doctor, visit a pharmacy or go to a hospital, along with sharing our own medical stories and have interviewed real-life nurses

Out Science Ambassadors did a great job in demonstrating their learning from a recent Science investigation, using black pepper, water, and washing up liquid! @Year3_WCP_ found it so fascinating that some of the children are eager to try it out for themselves at home. Mrs Bradbury

This week we have be focusing on anti bullying week and discussing what we can do to help if someone is getting bullied. #collectiveworship

This morning, Year 6 have been learning about the benefits of saving money in a bank account, what interest is and comparing different savings accounts, their benefits and features. Mr Hearnshaw Windsor CP

Today, Year 6 went on a walk of the local area - visiting the future site of the new Baltic Triangle train station and nearby areas. Thanks to Tony for providing us with information about the plans for the new station, which will help us with our learning in Geography next week.

Year 6 took a visit to the International Slavery Museum today; the children really enjoyed using the Trail task to find more information about our current History topic

A fantastic NFL Intra-Tournament played this morning, with Year 5 and Miss Withell - respect was shown by all and great sportsmanship all round! Windsor CP Sport

Year 6 are kick-starting their History topic about The Vikings with Magic Door Education Ltd, by becoming archaeologists, creating messages using the Viking alphabet and trading goods at a Viking market.

We have enjoyed being Scientists with ‘Sublime Science’ today; making slime, creating a tornado in a bottle and setting off rockets in the playground.
