FGR game was disappointing. They massively exposed our fragility on transitions in the second half. Thought there were errors in team selection and subs. It’s a blow but it’s just one game and nothing was won or lost yesterday. Learn, move on and keep backing the team šŸ™Œ #ycfc

How clubs in league 2 have let this happen I’ll never know. I’ll be reposting this tweet when we sell him for over a mil

Dan Batty runs this team and it’s showing Play without Batty & you won’t hold the ball for large spells of the game and if you don’t control possession you can’t play with just 2 lightweight central players. They get exposed This team needs Armstrong and/or batty to function

I think he has a lot more to offer over the course of the season for us. I think he makes a much bigger impact playing centrally as a 10 than he does playing out wide

Top quality tactical adjustment from Hinsh at HT yesterday. Noticed Gateshead only leaving one defender deep out of possession and got Dipo isolated 1v1 against him by swapping him and Pearce. Went more direct into dipo who got in behind twice early on and should’ve had 2 goals

Batty - Hunt - Armstrong Can’t be many better balanced non league midfield trios than that in recent times šŸŽÆ Batty - deep dictator and tempo setter šŸ”— Hunt - link between the lines šŸ’Ŗ Armstrong - strong + direct with end product & a pressing monster The perfect balance āš–ļø

Don’t really like the backlash Darren Ferguson is getting. Regardless of who his dad is, Darren is an experienced and successful manager. He made the best decision for his team Teams outside the premier league are not there to make up the numbers and give everyone a nice story.

Be interesting to see how this goes without any out and out wingers. Not a fan of a front 3 of all strikers and feel like you won’t get the best out of Pearce out wide if that is where he’s playing. I would expect Sinclair or ANG to make a big impact off the bench

Selection errors today, Hinsh will learn from today I’m sure. Didn’t move the ball well enough in the first half and by the time we got control it was too late. Sutton deserved to win and should have been 3/4 up in the first half, however the time wasting and diving was a joke

Absolutely inexcusable red card for king after full time. Misses 3 games needlessly when we are so short on defenders already. He’s contributed nothing on the pitch since joining, wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t see another minute this season.

Getting Hinsh on a new contract would be huge We’re doing well and it’s inevitable that clubs will be after our players and our manager. It’s difficult to lose good players and replace them but it’s even harder to do that with a manager He’s more important to us than any player

Much more balanced, best possible 11 in my opinion. What a game this promises to be. Is it set up for a Stones winner off the bench šŸ‘€

What a fantastic half of football. Batty running the show as usual and the width provided by Sinclair, ANG and Felix has caused Oldham so many problems. All 3 have been fantastic. More of the same please lads #ycfc

Top performance, absolutely bossed the first half and did a great job seeing it out in the second half. Every single player was fantastic. Once again a top bounce back performance after a defeat. Onto the weekend #ycfc

If any teams we play from now until the end of the season sit off and let us play they clearly haven’t done their homework. When teams press us high we can’t cope with it. Watching Batty and hunt continuously receive passes facing their own goal with pressure was painful #ycfc
