Proud to host the first Cross-Regional Forum on Implementing Laws and Policies on Internal Displacement, gathering government officials to exchange practices on implementing laws and policies. We are grateful to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Paula Gaviria, and facilitators for their expertise.
It is a privilege to gather with government officials from nine countries for the first Cross-Regional Forum on Implementing Laws and Policies on Internal Displacement International Institute of Humanitarian Law with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. There are unique benefits when States learn from each other.
During the UN SG's High-Level Panel on Internal Displacement process, States facing internal displacement challenges made clear that they benefit when they can learn & exchange ideas with others facing similar issues.
