12. In a society where almost everyone is trying to be at one level above the others, the society has a tendency to be stable as long as there is enough space to accommodate the hierarchical thought.

13. When the economy is performing well, the authorities have sufficient monetary incentive and fiscal power to provide more positions for those with hierarchical ambitions in exchange for their loyalty to maintain the status quo. These people hope to hang on as long as possible.

14. The giant community has developed into a more fragmented and diverse society after 40 some years of development. It is not wise to run it in the old fashion way. Sadly it is exactly the case in China. The U.S. has to face the reality and make good use of it to benefit people.
