📌Reminder: Design breaks the moment you defend ideas instead of testing them. Treat opinions like prototypes. Test. Break. Replace. Designers who adapt create momentum. Designers who protect ego create friction.

📌AI is fast. Simple isn’t. We all know AI can spit out something glossy that *looks* polished in seconds. But clarity still comes from slowing down. You choose, cut what doesn’t matter, and shape the idea until it feels right. AI gives you 10x output. You give it meaning.

đŸš« Speed didn’t kill your design quality, poor planning did “We had to move fast” isn’t an excuse for skipping proper planning You can move fast and maintain acceptable quality with checkpoints e.g quick testing, QA. Testing an idea? Ship fast Launching a product? Plan better

👉 The best documentation is the least amount needed to create the most understanding. Over-documenting is the design equivalent of yelling the obvious, and hoping someone’s listening. Just because Figma lets you add DevNotes to everything doesn’t mean you should.

You’re wasting time with AI if you use it like a slot machine: 🎰 Prompt → Review → Repeat That loop costs you 3× more time to reach something usable. Prompting works best as a brief, not a bet: Think → Define → Prompt → Refine Quality comes from intent, not attempts.

AI makes it dangerously easy to feel productive without solving real problems ⚠ The problem isn’t AI. It’s how easily we let complexity creep in; just because “easy” felt good in the moment. Every time you choose “easy” today, you’re choosing “complex” tomorrow.

‘‘AI built my design system in 10 sec’’ Cool! Now explain the tradeoffs, the vision, what you’re protecting
A design system isn’t a kit. It’s an opinion about how a product should behave and evolve Components are cheap. Conviction isn’t. Don’t be an NPC with AI access

At what point does “AI-powered” become user-hostile? Every product now has: AI suggestions. AI summaries. AI auto-everything. Smart
until it interrupts you. AI should reduce friction. Not replace control. If the system makes too many decisions, is it still user-centered?

Daily routine of a “10x designer” 👇 Generate. Refine. Redesign. Repeat. Yet AI speed often hides shallow thinking. If the problem is wrong, you’re just iterating faster in the wrong direction. Execution is cheap. Thinking is expensive. Most teams are cutting the wrong cost
