Congratulations to our ‘star’ Prof. Stacy Malaker, named an Cancer Research Institute Lloyd J. Old STAR for her pioneering work on mucins! By studying the changes of these sugar molecules in cancerous cells, she aims to identify new diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies.
